Helsinki Culture Tour

The National Library by architect C.L.Engel, from 1840 at the Senate Square.

Welcome to my relaxing Cultural City tour of Helsinki. The cultural highlights are included in our program with interesting stories of history and with the experiences of our lifestyle here in the north. You know that we in Finland live for during one year six months of daylight and warm weather and six months we spend in the snow, cold and ice in the darknes. This has some impact in our culture, too.

We shall make a visit at The Oodi Library, pop in The Music Center, and a visit at The Ateneum National Gallery and / or National Museum and/or Amos Rex Museum, The Railway Station, The Senate Square, The National Library, The Market Square and South Harbor and  the Rock Church (Temppeliaukion kirkko) and/ or The Chapel of Kamppi.  The duration of the tour can be 2 or 3 hours, by private minibus or on foot and public transportation - or by bus. Please let me customize the tour according to your interests.

Gaia, the great steel sculpture by Kirsi Kaulanen hangs in the lobby of the Music Center.
